Frequently Asked Questions
How do I score a round?
Start a session by selecting your distance and target type. Tap "Add Round", then use the in-app camera to photograph your paper target. Once the photo is captured, tap each bullet hole on the image — use pinch-to-zoom for precision placement. The app automatically calculates your score based on official ring geometry. Tap "Save Round" when done.
Is my data backed up?
In the current version (V0), all sessions, scores, and images are stored only on your iPhone. There is no cloud backup. You can export your data via Settings → Data → Export. Cloud sync and backup are planned for a future update.
Which target formats are supported?
SportShooting currently supports four target formats: C50 (50m Swiss/ISSF precision pistol), Swiss 25m Precision, DSB 10m Air Pistol (German sport shooting federation), and P-Kombination 50m (Swiss combination target). More formats are planned.
How do I delete all my data?
Go to Settings → Data → Delete All Data. This permanently removes all sessions, rounds, and images from your device. This action cannot be undone, so consider exporting your data first.
