How the shooting-logbook app works at the range
Start a practice session, choose the distance and target format, and then capture each round. Use a target photo as the basis or place shots manually on the rendered target. After marking the shots, SportShooting shows the score, extreme spread, mean radius, and group center. The round is saved only after you review it.
Supported paper targets
The app currently includes DSB 10 m Air Pistol, Swiss 10 m Air Pistol, Swiss 25 m Standard, and P-Kombination 50 m targets. Always select the rendering that matches your physical target because its geometry determines the score calculation.
Offline and without an account
The core capture, shot-marking, scoring, and history features work without an account. Practice data and target photos stay locally on the iPhone, so the workflow also works at ranges with poor reception. As with any local-only archive, losing the device without a separate backup can also mean losing the training history.
